Upgrades
Another addition was the
reinforcement of the fuselage using the same composite material that
the ducts were made of. The rear, middle and front of the fuselage all
have improved wall reinforcements.
The Gun activating mechanism
was also moved to the rear of the fuselage.
A new tail boom was also
installed. It is longer and gives better drive rod support to the
mechanics. The tail rotor servo is mounted to the boom like in most pod
and boom versions and 8 pushrod guides are attached to the tail boom
eliminated the wire in the tube stock method. The allows very precise
control of the tail rotor.
